Took some time off from posting, but we've still been learning 🤓. Side note I'm kinda obsessed with this peekkids ✊✍♀️Jane Austen shirt she's wearing & wish it came in adult sizes 😄. This past week we discussed human emotions, a topic so relevant because this little girl has some BIG emotions & is quite the expressive one. She's been an intense kiddo 😃😔🙁😱😤 from birth and that has surely carried over into her preschool development. Jo Witek's best seller, "In My Heart ❤," has a fantastic message and the accompanying illustrations & page design are exquisite. Another must add to your child's library 👍👍. Zoe did 3-part cards identifying the range of emotions and was given the opportunity to draw her own interpretation of each one...to us each face may look pretty similar, but in her mind they were all quite distinct. Keeping up with our ❤💚🖤🤎Black History Month learning we read about Rosa Parks. What I enjoyed about this version of her story was how age-appropriate the history of her contribution was explained.
