I have bought my two sons many Plae shoes over the years and this is the second pair of Elise shoes, only because he outgrew the other pair. I love that these shoes are stretchy, lightweight and durable. My 7-year old is rough on his shoes and plays hard and these shoes lasted him until he outgrew them. The extra bonus is that they are super stylish and cute!

These are awesome summer shoes for my 7 year old. She doesnt like sandals so these have been a great alternative. There are nice and breathable and they stay on well when she runs. This is our 5th pair of Plae shoes and weve loved them all.

We tried these with our kiddo who has an AFO on one foot and a patti-bob insert on the other. He has a pretty narrow foot, so his hinged brace isnt too bulky. It was a little hard to get on over his AFO at first, but it totally works! Its already getting easier. Its a little big on his non AFO side, and without the extra lift from his PT, his foot slips out on that side. He doesnt like how the fabric folds when I pull the tab tight. It would be cool if there was a way to sinch the foot opening. We love how light and flexible they are!! I kind of want a pair for myself!!
